I shared  “secret shoulds,” in a recent post and said, “sometimes we put pressure on ourselves to be productive in all the wrong ways.”

Gardening at 70Lately, I’ve been spending hours on a major garden reconstruction project. It’s hard work. There are weeds to pull, plants to move, mulch to spread, and more trips to the garden center than I care to admit.

At 70 years old, some people might think it’s time to slow down.

I disagree.

Gardening keeps me moving, learning, creating, and dreaming about what’s next. It’s exercise with a purpose. It’s therapy without an appointment. And every small improvement reminds me that growth doesn’t stop with age.

The garden isn’t perfect yet, but neither is life.Live your best life

Both are always a work in progress.

That’s one of the reasons I embrace the ProAge Smart Life™. Living your best life isn’t about sitting still. It’s about continuing to create, build, learn, and enjoy the journey—at every age.

If you’ve been putting off a project, perhaps it’s time to stop saying “I should” and simply begin.

One small step today can grow into something beautiful tomorrow.
